Low-dose Bildgebung
Die Klinik erforscht hier Grundlagen zur Entwicklung und Evaluie- rung von Low-dose-Protokollen nach dem ALARA-As Low As Reaso- nable Acceptable/ALADA- As Low As Diagnostically Acceptable-Prin- zip mithilfe von niedrig KV Protokollen und verschiedenen iterativen Rekonstruktionstechniken. Es wurden ALADA- Qualitätsparameter für CT-Untersuchungen von Felsenbeinen und Kieferknochen be- stimmt, sowie ein Ultralow-dose-Protokoll für Frakturdiagnostik des Mittelgesichts mit über 90% Dosisreduktion zu herkömmlichen Pro- tokollen etabliert.
Qualitätssicherung und strukturierte Dosisoptimerungsstrategien existieren an der Universitätsklinik für Radiologie seit mehr als 20 Jahren.
